Scholarship Program for Alumnus!

Scholarship & Tuition Assistance Program-Policies & Procedures

As an alumnus from Pacific Lodge Boys' Home (PLBH), you are eligible to apply for financial assistance to further realize your educational dreams. We encourage our alumni to pursue their goals and offer guidance in assisting you to do so. Please review the guidelines to ensure a timely process of your request. Note: It will take 4-6 weeks to process your request due to committee vote regarding your application.

1. PLBH will provide assistance to graduates who successfully completed our Residential Treatment program. Other forms of discharge will be considered on a case by case basis.
2. PLBH will provide assistance to graduates enrolled full time in an accredited educational institution. Recipient must inform PLBH if dropped to less than full time status.
3. Each request will be evaluated on the basis of need for the individual making the request.
4. Applicants are encouraged to utilize other forms of financial aid and not rely solely on the support received from PLBH.
5. Applicant agrees to keep PLBH informed of change of address.
6. Applicant shall use monies towards tuition and cost of books associated with educational pursuits and agrees to provide PLBH with copies of both proof of enrollment (registrar/admission documentation) AND receipts regarding the expenditure of gift.
7. PLBH will only consider providing scholarship to alumni who provide name and contact information for school career advisor/educational planner who is associated with the academic endeavor the alumnus has made a commitment to.
8. An alumnus must agree to furnish copies of report cards at the close of semester/quarter.
